Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
We have just booked to stay here again next year and aside from our annual trips to a lovely hotel in Dyffryn we never stay in the same place twice so that is testament to how lovely this house is! The garden is beautiful, completely private and enclosed and a wonderful sun trap, if the weather is not great you can relax in the comfortable conservatory or reading room at the front of the house. The location is great, about a 20 min stroll down to the gorgeous Treaddur Bay beach and stunning coastal walks and a short drive to many other beaches. The house is spacious and airy and the bedrooms all well appointed, we took our two 15 year old boys and they loved that they each had HD tvs to hook up their gaming consoles. Beds are comfortable and both bathrooms have good quality fittings and fixtures. The owners are friendly and helpful and access and egress at the property was without issue. Parking at the property was spacious and there are frequent buses from directly outside. A beautiful house in a quiet residential area and we cannot wait to return to Little Mead!
The property looks lovely, clean and seemingly well appointed , there are however a few gaps. For instance a 4ft 6 double is not a double, it is a large single, which makes it difficult for 6 to sleep here. The bed is also incredibly uncomfortable which made for a bad holiday. There are also not 6 seats in the lounge which makes sitting together difficult. The bedroom window and bathroom window don’t open which is both unhygienic and dangerous ( in the event of needing to vacate the property). They could do with a few more food containers, all the knives are dull and almost unusable and the property ( given its location) could do with some secure outside storage for bikes etc. it advertises incredible views from the garden - it is nice but not that nice. The road it is on is just over 1km from the beach and down a hill - we found this fine but if you struggle with this sort of thing don’t book this property.
