Coniston is a pretty village sitting within the Lake District National Park, at the head of the scenic Coniston Water. Home to a good selection of local shops, as well as pubs which also serve delicious food, you can find everything you need here for a self-catered stay, as well as its own Ruskin Museum and the National Trust wonder of the Steam Yacht Gondola. With plenty of outdoor adventure and in easy reach of Ambleside, Windermere and Grasmere, Coniston is a beautiful base from which to explore Cumbria.

I can definitely recommend this holiday cottage. It is a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped cottage with fabulous views. It is situated on the edge of Coniston but is only a few minutes walk into the village which has some good places to eat and drink.
