Reviews

Haltwhistle is a lovely little town surrounded by beautiful countryside. This cottage needs a thorough clean. And this is in pandemic time. It would be in a much better condition for the next visitors as we cleaned so many things that we could not tolerate. We have a very long list of cleaning issues including a dirty cooker that we were not prepared to use. We would have left after 2 days had it not been that we were there to meet up with family. The gardener told us that the owner had not visited for over 6 months but she is not prepared to accept responsibility for the state of the place. Reckons everything was fine.??? We have rented many cottages over the years and have never come across aything like this before. Never had to complain.

Welcomed with chocolates and wine. Well equipped and felt like home. Great for walking straight from the door and for utilising the buses for walking sections of the Wall. Really dog friendly which was wonderful.

We have stayed in the cottage next door before so we knew this one would be of a high standard and it was, it is a very comfortable cottage within a short walking distance to the town centre. They are very dog friendly and there are loads of walks to do from the cottage itself. It is very well-furnished and comfortable. We would love to go back, Highly recommended!
