We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at The Stables at Kelk Beck Cottages. The cottage is spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully. The owner Rachael was very friendly and welcoming, providing a delightful welcome package of fresh bread, milk and a bottle of Prosecco. She made us and our two children feel very welcome and was happy to provide information on days out and places to eat. The surrounding countryside and villages were stunning. It’s only about 10 mins from the coast and the beaches are beautiful. We had some lovely meals at nearby pubs and days out at Filey, Honeysuckle Farm, Hornsea and Beverley. The nearest town of Driffield has everything you need. The park and ride a Bridlington is great as it’s right on the beach and there are cafe and toilet facilities. A car is essential as you need to drive to pubs and attractions. We would definitely go again and would recommend this cottage to anyone. We stayed a week and could have stayed longer. Thanks for a great holiday.
