Explore the Quantock Hills and find pretty heathland, woodlands and ancient parkland. The town of Taunton is within easy reach, with a selection of museums, pretty parks to wander through and a fantastic golf course. Somerset's coastline is less than 10 miles away, with a choice of lovely beaches, while the town of Bridgwater is close by, with its national nature reserve, ideal for spotting a variety of wildlife.
This a really nice little cottage in lovely surroundings. It is part of an old Stables courtyard that was part of Triscombe House. There are great views across towards Bishops Lydeard in one direction and Wills Neck (the highest point in the Quantocks). There are some great walks, some steep, with Triscombe Stone just a short, steep walk away. A mile or so, in the other direction (and much flatter) is Crowcombe Station on the West Somerset Railway, where you can take a steam train as far as Minehead. The cottage has everything you would need and there's a nice little private garden.
