Reviews

The location is amazing as it is tucked away in a peaceful and quiet setting yet only minutes away from all of the major roads leading to Bedford, Milton Keynes and the M1 motorway. What we particularly liked about this place was how thoughtfully the accommodation was designed with guests in mind looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The standard of decor and chosen decorative items create a very homely feel and we felt we could instantly relax after a really busy summer. The owners obviously care very much about their guests' comfort, providing milk, a lovely cake on arrival and a very friendly, welcoming greeting. Our grandson and his parents stayed with us too and the cot, high chair, plate, bowls, and children's utensils were an obvious thoughtful touch. We were so touched though by the little basket provided of children's bubble bath, sudocrem and all of those little extras that made us feel really cared for during our stay. Watching the ducks on their pond and going for a Sunday morning stroll around the edges of the farm, seeing the apple trees and the blackberries growing made for some special grandparent memories with our family. We could not recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be booking again when we next plan to come and visit the family in a few months time. Thanks for your very kind hospitality.
