Upton-by-Chester is a large suburb and civil parish resting outside the city centre of Chester, Cheshire. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely cottage. It was very well equipped, the bed was comfy and it had everything you could want. We found the shower floor slippery, but when we told the owner a bathmat was supplied immediately. The cottage is new and adjacent to a large field with fruit trees and benches. We were told we could pick the fruit and brought home a bag of apples and plums. We are both in our 70s and found the settee very low and difficult to get out of, but overall we would recommend this lovely cottage in an idyllic setting adjacent to the owner’s house.
