Location Details
The small hamlet of Lowick Green rests near to the southern tip of Lake Windermere, three miles from Coniston Water. Made up of traditional old farmhouses, the area offers beautiful views of Coniston Old Man, as well as walking, mountain biking and climbing opportunities at Coniston Old Man, with woodland trails available at Grizedale Forest. Lowick Green boasts its own 14th century pub, whilst nearby Ulverston provides an excellent market, an array of old pubs and good restaurants.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated - kitchen & bathroom facilities excellent with a lovely enclosed patio back garden; perfect for dogs (and small children). Great location - very peaceful, bus stop at end of the row of houses but car I'd suggest is more beneficial to explore areas easily. We were able to visit all 3 main Lakes and towns, plus ventured to Morecombe and Grange over Sands - great base to come back to, very homely, and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended. We were travelling as 3 adults (1 was an 85-year old Mum!) and 2 dogs (Patterdale Terrier & Cockapoo). Lovely green area just in front of the house - perfect for the first, early morning "walk" for the dogs.
We had a lovely two night stay at this stunning cottage. It is so cosy and comfortable. The fire in the lounge created the most relaxing night in watching a film on Netflix! The bathroom is five stars with such an amazing bath! It has a lovely closed off garden area which was great for our little sausage dog. It is only a 15 minute drive away from Bowness which is great for a day out. Lovely quiet area, great for beautiful scenic walks. The hosts are so friendly and helpful too! Couldn’t fault this cottage, we will recommend to all our family and friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Green View, its located in a lovely quiet row of houses. Decorated beautifully inside with a nice patio area to rear. If you have a dog like us it was nice to have a bit space outside to stretch the legs first and last thing in the day. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay
