Positioned in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, in the village of Risbury near to Leominster, is this fabulous four-bedroom farmhouse, Orchard House. Offering a large family or group a wonderful getaway, Orchard House is great for those seeking a secluded retreat with plenty of walking opportunities. Make use of the ample parking space on the drive before stepping beneath the beautiful timber porchway and into the front door. Discover a lovely sitting room to unwind in, furnished with three sofas to relax on and a Smart TV to entertain, you can fire up the woodburning stove on a cool winter night and get cosy while the large windows present a scenic backdrop. Socialise in the large kitchen/diner, with sleek, granite worktops, a Belfast sink and high quality appliances ensuring the chef of the group has everything at their fingertips, along with a large, circular table with striking yellow chairs to gather around for delicious meals, and a large Smart TV on the wall which is great for keeping up to date with the news while you sip your morning coffee. Open the door from this room into the garden in summer and carry out the dishes for alfresco dining on the patio, afterwards taking a dip in the fabulous hot tub while you gaze at the night sky, ending the night gathered around the fire pit. Store your bikes in the lockable bike storage, and even keep your muddy walking boots in a boot store here too. Back on the ground floor there is a cloakroom with a basin and WC, and one of four excellent bedrooms, hosting a super-king-size bed, a Smart TV and access straight into the garden. Venture into town to discover a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with a scattering of black and white buildings to admire, heralding the start of The Black and White Trail, a 40-mile motor/cycle circular route through some of the prettiest villages of Herefordshire. Visit Leominster Priory, the 11th century Croft Castle and Grange Court, or venture further away to visit the grand castles of Hampton Court Castle, Ludlow Castle, and Eastnor Castle. Nearby to Orchard House is the KingfisherTrout Lake offering keen anglers a peaceful spot for some excellent fishing in this well-stocked lake. Well this really is a little gem. Just 40 minutes from Birmingham, we wanted a little get away just the girls where we could have a relaxing break. Boy did we get it. This place is beautiful, spotless and totally amazing. You receive a welcome hamper on arrival which is lovely. A book with instructions for everything. Every room is spotless and beautifully decorated. Has everything you need. If you stay with kids, which I'm tempted to do, it also has games, toys and books and then outside in the furniture it has out door games. Then of course there is the hot tub. Amazing it get cleans twice a day and as long as you leave the lid on when not in use its so so warm. I cannot recommend this cottage enough and I cannot wait to come back, I had so many people message me on Instagram whilst I was alway to ask where I was and for the link, so a few bookings may come your way I will for sure be back. We didn't travel out I'm afraid so don't know what's around but the book on the kitchen gives you lots of information.
