Reviews

Location - the description does indicate the steepness of the walk, to and from this property. However, the steps leading from the car park area - to gain entry are very precarious. In fact, I would consider them to be bordering on dangerous ( especially in the wet). Even if you take the advice about taking a taxi, from Looe, it's still a bit of an incline from the Spar shop - to this property. What's more interesting, is this is a converted attic from the house - where the owner lives. Property - the pictures taken by the owner, are quite deceptive ( I think they had training by an Estate Agent ). The " kitchen " is basically a rectangular space, where only one person at a time can be in it. How you are able to cook a meal ( using the words from the owner ), defies belief. It's no more than a foot deep and there is no room to do more than make a cup of tea and make some toast. All the plates and drinking vessels are stored in a cupboard, located in the lounge. The longue is spacious  - but furnished using old ( and very tired ) conservatory furniture. Not that comfortable at all. Bedrooms are okay and again very spacious. However, the wardrobes are cupboards located behind white doors. Not very tall and no where to store clothes ( we left ours on the bed in the second bedroom ). Bathroom - how on earth did someone decide to install the toilet, in such a tight space ? Cleanliness - how other people have commented on the cleanliness being great, is very debatable. Upon our arrival, we noticed a very strong and pungent smell - which turned out to be a vase of flowers, where the water was stagnant. I cannot believe that this property had been cleaned for a while, as there were cobwebs everywhere. The mat, in the longue was dirty and full of bits. The lampshades all need a good clean and the light in the bathroom is full of dead flies. The window in the bathroom is so dirty ( on the inside ), that it would probably let more light in  - if it had been cleaned. The most disgusting thing, in the bathroom, was the amount of hair in the plug hole. There is out of date coffee sachets ( by 2 years ) - and God only knows how old the sugar is - in the " kitchen ". Love Looe but would not recommend this property.
