The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Excellent little Cottage ideal for two people. Wish we could have stayed longer. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable (Newly done I think) Not overlooked by anyone so very peaceful. Small shops about 5 mins away in Upper Poppleton where you will also find pubs and restaurants (usually closed on Mondays so check on line beforehand . The larger stores like Tesco and other shops on retail site is less than 10 minutes away in car and opposite is the park and ride for York. Cottage is Ideal choice for peaceful break or an active break. i. e York and walking. Plenty of National Trust places to visit too. There are two cottages both are superb.
