Resting on a quiet lane on the edge of the charming village of Langcliffe, just outside of Settle on the fringes of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is Winskill Cottage, a charming cottage surrounded by picturesque rolling countryside. This property is ideal for a couple or small group of friends looking to spend quality time together exploring the stunning countryside of this region of Yorkshire. Step inside the property to discover a welcoming open-plan living space, with a fully-equipped kitchen decorated in neutral hues with a splash of vibrant red paint providing the perfect space to cook delicious home-cooked meals, to be enjoyed together at the dining table, before retreating to the sofas to relax in front of the woodburning stove with a good book from the bookcase or with a movie night on the wall mounted TV. When sleep is calling, retire upstairs to the good-sized king-size double bedroom, served by a bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can enjoy the choice of a long soak or quick rinse in the shower to begin each day. Explore your surroundings on foot, with several public footpaths taking you through the Dales' finest scenery from your doorstep, while the River Ribble flows close by and offers lovely riverside strolls up towards Stainforth Force waterfall and the hiking area of Catrigg Force. Catch a show at the traditional theatre, go for a swim at the indoor pool, and be sure to take a trip along the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway, passing the Ribblehead Viaduct and some incredible upland scenery.
