This was my first holiday going solo and it was amazing! Booked through Sykes cottages, good communication from Skye’s and the actual owner. Arrived and the owner had put the heating on for me. The cottage was clean, cozy and well laid out. I got told it’s just had a nee refurbishment which you can tell-the layout and decor is lovely! The owners have thought of everything. It really was a lovely cottage and situated in the middle of Cromford, not far from Matlock. I was lucky with the weather and only about 50minutes from walking areas like Ladybower reservoir and MamTor. If you are looking for a cozy get away for 1/2 people then this is perfect! I would love to go again and recommend this cottage completely! Private parking, log burner, washing machine, welcome pack, plenty of space to hang your clothes and plenty more. Spoke to the owners on the phone, and they seemed lovely and really wanted to make the cottage the perfect holiday, which they did! Thank you Chris and Jon. X
