We stayed here in October and couldn’t have booked a better cottage if we tried. Everything was perfect from start to finish. We entered the cottage on arrival and found it to be immaculate with all the amenities provided including a very generous breakfast hamper. The log burner and heating was very easy to use and kept us toasty throughout our stay. Mark the owner was great and assured us he was available should we have any issues during our stay. Stanhope is a great village with the cottage on the doorstep of the local shops and pubs. Overall a great stay and will look to stay again in the future
What a fantastic stay we had at Bracken Cottage. The Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard complemented by lovely furnishings. Situated off the main high street on a very quiet street. The Kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay, living room is so cosy with the wood burner on, main bedroom is spacious and bed very comfortable and the bathroom shower was great and option of a bath. Thank you to the owner Mark. We will definitely be staying again.
