Filey is a classic English seaside village with a laid-back vibe that's perfect for nature lovers and walkers of all ages to enjoy. On the Yorkshire coast, it's a true find. From its earliest days as a fishing village on the North East Coast, Filey, now a popular seaside resort, has been known as a getaway for visitors who come to enjoy the stunning Filey Bay and the nearby Filey Brigg with its shallow rockpools to the north. It is possible to observe birds and the sea from Filey Brigg, a low headland protecting Filey Bay, at any time of the year.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The house is clean. And it generally well equipped, unfortunately you are met with a list of MANDATORY notices. a lot of red bold capped notices. They include. An agreed with the area Quiet time between 8pm and 8am. This is not on the Ad. You are not allowed to smoke,vape etc in the property, back garden or front yard qnd drive. You have to go on the street. So if you want a meal and a few drinks on the lovely garden with kids playing be aware of the 8pm to 8am quiet zone restrictions. The bedrooms have decent furniture but a distinct lack of drawers for clothing. Does have quite a lot of hanging space however. The bathroom shower is good. The bedrooms have blackout blinds but let in a great deal of light around the bottom, top and sides. My kids found it difficult as the room was lit up early morning. I sent a text to the supplied number 3 days before we left and received no reply. I called them when we arrived a little early and the phone was turned off. I called the supplied landline and got through to the cleaner.nhe told me them owners turn their phones off at the weekend. So completely useless. The sofa in the living. Has seen better days. It's clean but uncomfortable. It's also very low so if you have mobility issues be aware. The property is clean and fairly well equipped but after reading the quiet zone issue we requested a partial refund as we felt on edge about noise admits very subjective and with 3 kids and the ad (on another site) not being transparent we felt restricted.
