Cwm heulog is a delightful, detached bungalow set on a working sheep farm, just off the main road that runs between Abergele and Llanrwst. Enjoying a rural location, the property benefits from picturesque views down the valley and towards the River Elwy, encompassing local farms and cattle in all directions. Surrounded by countryside walks and an idyllic atmosphere, and within a mile of two pubs and a Post Office/general store in the village centre as well as a café serving local delicacies, you can enjoy a varied getaway with friends or family. Make yourself at home in the sitting room where you can relax and unwind upon the leather sofas as you catch up on your favourite TV shows, keeping warm from the heat of the woodburning stove. Move into the country style kitchen/diner and utilise the range of appliances on offer, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and even a dishwasher so washing up will be a breeze! Dine at the dining table or head into the warm and welcoming conservatory as you admire the far-reaching valley views. As the evening comes to an end, retire to one of the three bedrooms with crisp white bed linen and neutral tones, comprising of; two double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities and a twin room which is ideal for younger guests. Kick start your mornings with a refreshing shower in the bathroom, before popping on your walking boots and waterproofs to tackle the surrounding fells. Benefitting from the owner’s fishing rights, guests are welcome to cast their rods into the River Elwy in the hope of catching some trout or salmon. The bustling town of Abergele is within easy reach and offers a wonderful stretch of sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming and water sport activities, along with the impressive Gwrych Castle, which featured on 2020's series of I'm a celebrity... Get me out of here!, where you can brush up on local history. For a family day out, head to Llandudno and stroll along the famous promenade whilst the aroma of fish and chips sparks your hunger, before browsing the concessions of Wales’ longest pier and enjoying a tramway up the Great Orme. Those feeling adventurous should take a scenic drive to Snowdonia National Park, which can be reached within 30 minutes, to hike the formidable Mount Snowdon, Wales' highest peak, which offers breath-taking views and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
