Parking available for a single car in the garage (medium sized family car/SUV or smaller). Limited on street parking is available further up the road or a 24 hour car park is a 2 minute walk to the property (Temple Road car park). A 3 day/7 day pass can be bought at very reasonable rates prior to your visit. Kirkham House is a wonderful base for families, friends and couples eager to explore this splendid Derbyshire region.

Lovely house and plenty of room for large families -there were 7 in my party. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is spacious and welcoming. Beds are comfy and the shower is nice and big. Hot tub is fab and easy to use. Area is family orientated with plenty of attractions all within walking distance. Two local cafes offer vegan food which is great for those with food intolerances. However there is no corner shop for pint of milk etc. Local Sainsburys is only 1 mile away, easy to get to and sells everything. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely house,full of interesting features, plenty of room, very comfortable, lots of little extras on arrival. Perfect location, very close to all amenities, lovely walks from the doorstep and yet no noise from the hustle and bustle of the main street. Excellent value for money, we had a lovely few days and glorious weather. Thankyou x

Fantastic property from start to finish. All the home from home essentials are present and to a high standard. The family really enjoyed the adundant space inside and the hot tub and BBQ are also really well looked after. Neil (the owner) was very attentive to our arrival and departure and also dropped us a message to see how things were going, which was a nice touch. Location...perfect for the main Street and only a stone's throw from Matlock itself. Bedrooms and beds...super comfy. The added sound system which has the ability to play the music in all the rooms is one of my personal favourite features...so much so...I'm going to replicate it at home. Highly recommend this property, you wont be disappointed. We will return all and that's a promise.
