Sleeping just two guests in a mezzanine sleeping platform, The Old Stable is a quirky, alternative property for those who are looking for something a little different whilst enjoying all that Cornwall has to offer. With the added advantage of an idyllic, dog friendly, pebble cove beach just a short stroll away. Upon entering the property, there is a kitchenette, which is great for preparing a picnic for your long day exploring, and a breakfast bar for you to enjoy a spot of breakfast with your loved one. Cuddle up on the sofa of an evening and enjoy your favourite programs. Continue through into the utility room with a handy tumble dryer, and then into the wet room which is a great space to freshen up before you head out for the day exploring. The moveable stairs lead to the mezzanine sleeping platform (with limited head height) has a double bed and a Velux window to let in the sea breeze. Just a stone's throw away from The Old Stable, you will find The Five Pilchards Inn which serves both food and drink so you can enjoy an evening out, or take a picnic on the pebbled beach. You can take a short drive into St Keverne which is a really beautiful village centred around a square, with pubs, shops and an impressive church spire, as well as being a great base to begin exploring the Lizard Peninsula. Discover hidden coves, colourful boats, whitewashed cottages and plenty of unique and stunning views. Also in the area is Roskilly’s Farm which is famous for its ice cream and pizza, or travel slightly further afield to Falmouth, where you can marvel at one of the world's largest natural harbours, as well as Henry VIII's 15th century Pendennis Castle and The National Maritime Museum. From here, you can explore the natural beauty of the Lizard Peninsula by car, bicycle or foot. You will find walled fishing harbours, secrets coves, sandy bays and clifftop walks along the South West Coastal path.

Note: Steep sliding ladder to access mezzanine floor and each side of the kitchenette - care must be taken on the steps of the sliding ladder staircase. Note: There is no cooker but a portable two plate hot plate is provided as well as a microwave and toaster. Note: There is limited headspace in the mezzanine bedroom, please see photographs. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
