Folly Cottage is an endearing mid-terrace stone cottage, located in the bustling town of Settle, North Yorkshire. Ideal for a group of adults or a small family, this delightful property makes a superb base for enjoying the picturesque scenery and exploring the local area. Entering via a cobbled street, on-street parking is available before stepping through the stone-walled gate and through the courtyard into the property, a small foyer welcomes you to leave your shoes and coats before making your way through the rest of the house. From here, an open-plan living space invites you in to enjoy a lovely living area, featuring a TV, an electric woodburning-style stove, a plush sofa and an armchair so you can rest your feet and snuggle up in the evenings. The open-plan continues into the kitchen and dining area where you will find dining seating for three guests and everything you need to cook up a storm on the induction hob and electric oven, as well as a handy washing machine and a storage cupboard containing a fridge/freezer for your needs throughout your stay. Climb the stairs up to the first floor where the first of two bedrooms awaits, the first being a single with ample storage for your belongings, complete with hanging space and a full length mirror to prepare for the day ahead. The second bedroom hosts a double and boasts vast views of the village from the window as well as a charming dressing table and a freestanding wardrobe. Back into the hallway, the exposed wooden beams ooze traditional cottage character before entering the shower room, fitted with a walk-in shower, vanity-style basin and a WC where you can freshen up between activities. Outside, the courtyard garden offers seating for three to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning or perhaps an evening glass of wine to catch-up on the day’s events.
