Location Details
Located in Norfolk, not far from Norwich and Dereham, and close to Fakenham, is the quaint village of Taverham. This picturesque community can trace its history all the way back to the Domesday Book of 1086 and was a major producer of paper in the nineteenth century; today, it is conveniently located on the outskirts of Norwich, not far from the Norfolk Broads and the beaches of Walcott and Great Yarmouth. The village's visitors can easily reach the city centre of Norwich, where they can learn about the region's rich history at sites like the Bridewell Museum, Pull's Ferry, Cow Tower, Stanger's Hall, and the imposing Normal Norwich Castle, perched high on a hill. Both the 80-acre Eaton Park, with its many sports fields and wildlife activities, and the idyllic and tranquil Plantation Garden are located in the city. To see the rest of Norfolk and all it has to offer, Taverham is a great starting point.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, there were 8 of us staying and there was plenty of room. The owners were so helpful. There is now a wall at the end of the garden which makes it a fully enclosed garden and ideal when you have children. All towels, bed linen, cleaning products were all provided too. They had tea, coffee and sugar sachets too. Only slight down point is for the amount of people that the accommodation the fridge isn't big enough, could also do with some fly screens for the doors in the kitchen/ lounge.
