Head into the city of Lincoln to do some sightseeing, making sure to visit Lincoln Cathedral to tour the grounds, roof and tower and soak up the fabulous views, as well as making a stop at Lincoln Castle which hosts events throughout the year and offers free guided tours around the walls, Victorian prison and is also home to a copy of the 1215 Magna Carta. Being the cultural hub of the county, Lincoln is home to museums, galleries and theatres, including the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, the award-winning archaeology museum The Collection, and Gainsborough Old Hall.
