Location Details
Located at the mouth of the River Esk, the ancient fishing port of Whitby is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire. With its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors, the region is an excellent destination for walkers, cyclists and fans of outdoor activities. Whitby itself is a charming and atmospheric town, packed with winding streets and hidden alley ways. There is also a picturesque harbour, numerous safe, sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by its famous 199 Steps.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Lovely place next to the river esk .However I did find that it didn't have a dvd player but there were dvds in the draw also being a cleaner myself found that it wasn't cleaned I understand that there are alot of places to clean but this wasn't cleaned that well but was a lovely place to stay
