From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
Myself and 3 friends stayed at Litton Hall Barn Cottage for 3 nights. We were greeted by the lovely owners, Kath and Robert, who live next door and were on hand for anything we required. The house is beautiful throughout. So well designed for our every comfort. The 3 beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We loved our stay which, due to Storm whatever it's name was in late February 2022, gave us beautiful snowy outlooks, rain and winds and 'some' blue skies. Unfortunately, the morning we were leaving ended with our car being towed back to Scotland!! During the eventful end to our weekend Kath and Robert were on hand to help us with their generosity. You will love this accommodation and the hills and surrounding dales. 'Heathcliff, it's me, Cathy.......' .....I'm afraid we sang this too many times.......that's the last for now!!!!!
