Stayed in this cottage with friends in July, we had the bunk beds Positives: A nice cottage, small and modern, looks as though very recently been redecorated Great fluffy towels Free wifi Super neighbours Plenty of amenities within the cottage A beautiful little traditional village with a lot of holiday lets to choose from Two great village pubs, one of which does fabulous food Negatives: Located in the middle of a row of houses, right on the road side of the main road that runs through the village. This was a problem with traffic noise and trying to get parked as other visitors parking on the pavement outside these houses. You literally step out of the front door onto a small pavement and then the main road. Parking was available to the rear of the property (not immediately behind the house, a short drive way and difficult to find) Absolutely no view from the living room as another property located a stones throw immediately opposite and a stone wall. There is no garden attached to the property. The garden to the property is located begin the neighbours house 2 doors down so it’s a short walk to get there. Once here the garden is overlooked by 2 or 3 other properties so you feel a bit like a goldfish in a bowl. We had dogs so were hoping just to be able to open the door to let the dogs into the garden but this was not possible. We would probably not stay here again, There are so many other properties to choose from in the village in a nicer location.
