Wainwright is a spacious and nicely presented lodge located in the Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park. The lodge has stunning views across the playing fields towards the surrounding fells and Troutbeck Valley. Uniquely, it sleeps up to 5 guests offering a single third bedroom. The lodge is bright and tastefully decorated offering a welcome retreat after a day hiking or sightseeing. Wainwright Lodge is much sought after being one of only a few lodges at Limefitt Park that has a hot tub. Step into the spacious open plan lounge and dining area, where you will find ample room for relaxing after a day’s exploring with two leather sofas plus a bucket chair, the dining area offers the perfect place to enjoy a home cooked meal together will seating for six people around the dining table from this room the two patio doors leading onto the large decking area where you will find you own private hot tub. In the evening retreat into your choice of one of the three bedrooms this lodge has to offer. The master bedroom is lovely and spacious with a king size bed with walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds, above bed storage, beside drawer, dressing table and wardrobe and the added bonus of a TV. The third and final bedroom. has a single bed, fitted wardrobe and bedside drawers. Serving second and third bedroom is the house bathroom, featuring a full-size Jacuzzi bath with over bath shower. Relish the peacefulness of Limefitt Park’s secluded location, set within the serene Troutbeck Valley with the Troutbeck mountain beck passing through the park. The park itself offers a host of facilities on-site to make your stay a breeze, with a convenience shop, a laundrette and a restaurant/bar serving delicious food, you’ll have all you need for your self-catered stay right on your doorstep. Enjoy watching your little ones have fun on the outdoor play area or have some fun in the games room for some family competition, there’s something to keep all entertained. Book an unforgettable horseback ride through the stunning Troutbeck valley with the park’s third party provider, spotting amazing wildlife and birds of prey along the way. One of the best ways to soak up the beauty of the Lakes is from a Windermere Lake Cruise, taking you along the waters of England’s largest lake to all the popular towns and villages, or head to Ullswater for the iconic Steamers on Ullswater Cruises. Discover a historic Roman fort at Ambleside, with a simple walk from the centre of the town up to the magnificent Stock Ghyll Force, and all the shops and bars and cafes to enjoy.

Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
