Esk Pike Lodge boasts a traditional style and is positioned in the Skiptory Howe area of the beautiful White Cross Bay Holiday Park. The lodge enjoys one of the most private positions on the park with woodland surrounding three sides making this the ideal choice for your secluded break. Step inside to be welcomed into a homely living/dining room where you can relax in the evening with a film night and the warmth from the gas fire. Walk through the curtains which separate the kitchen space from the living/dining area to find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for making delicious meals. Whatever the weather you will find entertainment with a selection of board games to save for a rainy day, as well as the lodge providing its own dedicated WiFi and boasting TVs in each bedroom. Make the most of the privacy by enjoying relaxing soaks in the bubbling hot tub which sits beneath a fabulous shelter so you can happily unwind in all weathers, with outdoor furniture too perfect for alfresco dining. White Cross Bay sits on the shores of Lake Windermere, with the lovely marina straight ahead of you and boats bobbing around. Head down to the jetties where you can watch the cruisers sail by, enjoy the breeze and the fantastic views. There is a pool, club house and small shop on the site too. Note: Some facilities on the park are subject to extra cost such as use of the pool, gym, entertainment, bar and restaurant. Coming out of White Cross Bay park entrance and turning left then 500 yards up the main road is Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre, where you could easily spend a day, enjoying gardens, house, café, restaurant, walks, boats, adventure playground and Tree Top Trek. You’re also just two miles from Windermere village with shops, cafes and pubs, and three miles from Bowness-on-Windermere a cosmopolitan village with award-winning restaurants and pubs and quirky shops, a cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction and where Windermere Lake Cruises come and go. Three miles in the other direction, head to Ambleside, another bustling town with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants and of course, walks in every direction. The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
