Set over three floors, Kooky Cottage is a charming escape for couples seeking exploration of South Wales. After a day of rambles, look forward to relaxing in the sitting room, offering a traditional décor with exposed stone work and sash windows, while the woodburning stove provides a cosy ambiance. When you’re not dining at a fine restaurant in the town, enjoy whipping up home-cooked meals within the kitchen/diner, appointed with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine, handy for when your walks take off on a muddier route! Climb to the first floor to discover the double bedroom with a hanging area and chest of drawers for storing clothes, while across the landing is the bathroom with bath and shower over, so you can decide how best to prepare for the day. The market town of Brecon has plenty to offer in the form of history, from its 11th century modest cathedral with stunning stained glass, to the Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh, showcasing military history and exhibits. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
