This is the first time we, as a family, have ever booked a cottage type break away - it won't be the last. This is a delightful cottage and far exceeded the expectations from the already wonderful pictures you see here. It is spacious with 2 sitting rooms. The main sitting room has a log burner with everything provided to get it going. I've no idea how to use one, but I gave it a go and had a nice fire going. Has a TV with all the usual channels and iplayer etc. The other sitting room is equally as nice but you may need your own firestick there if you want to watch the television. But we didn't do much telly watching - so only briefly looked. Kitchen diner is massive! All you need to cook is here. Very good quality throughout. Ensuite main bedroom. Make sure you pull the blind down (You'll see!). Bed is extremely comfy. The children reported the same from there room too! Now, the cottage is on a main road, so there is a bit of traffic noise - but to be honest its not really an issue. The boiler clicks a bit in the main bedroom when the heating comes on but again you're being uber picky if this is an issue. The outside is just lovely. You can spend hours in the hot tub, listening to tunes if you want, or the blissful sound of absolute calm. It is really secluded too so no one can see round the back. There is a lovely little welcome pack - and a folder with all you need to know about the cottage and the area. A brilliant touch. As it says, everything is a bit of a drive away, but an ideal base for exploring Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Our only regret is not being able to stay a bit longer. Out two asked when we were going back. I said I didn't know - but we will be going back to this beautifully presented cottage.
