Albert House is a heart-warming retreat for families seeking a break from normality, providing easy access to Swansea, South Wales the Brecon Beacons and just 150 yards away from the entrance to the River Amman cycle trail. After locating the off-road parking space, step into the sitting room, complete with white washed cottage walls, a woodburning stove, settee and a Smart TV for catching up on your favourite shows. Carry the conversation into the kitchen/diner, where you can prepare the dining table as the designated chef rustles up something tasty, with help from the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, making cleaning up a breeze! Whisk yourself off upstairs to the bedrooms, hosting a king-size and double behind original barn doors, each neutrally presented with plenty of storage space. Wake up with a refreshing shower in the sleek shower room, before popping the kettle on for a morning coffee and enjoying the calls of the birds from the enclosed patio. Based close to the Brecon Beacons National Park, there are a plethora of scenic walking trails nearby, including scenic routes to Henrhyd Falls, along with historical landmarks such as Paxton’s Tower, but if you can drag yourself to explore the other side of the Glanaman Valley, you’ll find the beautiful Cwn Clydach nature reserve, home to flycatches, redstarts and dippers.
