From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
This isn't a cottage. It's a terraced house in a residential area. It's approached by a side street that is unadopted with massive potholes, sorry, craters. If you have a nice car, then be prepared to pay for repairs. The terraced 2 up, 2 down, has no back yard and isn't garden fronted. The main road is extremely noisy with traffic. The propery smells of damp and the cellar, which houses the utility area is extremely damp. The property is possibly suitable for a rental, if the damp was sorted, not a holiday property, in any shape or form. The owner is cashing in on location and I'd be surprised if anyone ever made a second booking.
Very comfortable and very nice inside but the advert and photos make it look like it’s more part of old Haworth than it actually is. It is defining not in the village. Very noisy main road which was worse in in hot weather with windows open. Suggest doing a Google street view before booking. Parking at rear is under the washing lines of neighbours. Who are very nice and helpful with tourist information.
