Avid ramblers can don their walking boots and look forward to exploring the Trotternish Ridge. The Quiraing is a mountain well worth a visit, it is located on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach, along with The Storr, a craggy summit with impressive cliffs behind the famous pinnacle of the Old Man of Storr. There are so many adventures to be had in the area, with plenty of walking routes amidst stunning scenery, geology, cliffs, pinnacles and needles to savour. Other local attractions include the captivating views from Rubha Hunish, exploring the ruins of Duntulm Castle and brushing up on the local history with a visit to Skye Museum of Island Life in Kilmuir. Venture further afield to An Corran Beach and keep an eye out for dinosaur footprints, or head in the other direction to The Fairy Glen, which is an old landslide gives this hillside, known for its folk tales about fairies.
