Formally the owners' home and affectionately named after the first mountain they climbed together, this delightful dwelling can sleep up to four guests and provides superb access to the Cumbrian coast and the Lake District National Park, with the mountains of Wasdale Fell and Scafell Pike being a short drive away. Upon arriving at the cottage, take in those wonderful countryside views of the Wasdale peaks after parking in one of two spacious off-road spaces. Enter the property and leave your shoes in the handy porch's storage, before being enveloped into the charming living/dining room, featuring a toasty woodburning stove, cushioned seating and a TV to cosy up to; behind the sitting area is an oak dining table that is perfect for enjoying a delicious meal with your group as you catch up about your Lake District adventures. Progress through to a bright kitchen, featuring tasteful green tiling, a fabulous AGA range along with several other appliances that the chef of the group will enjoy rustling up meals with. As the day comes to an end, wander upstairs to find two attractive bedrooms, one being a zip/linked super-king-size that can be separated to suit your sleeping arrangements, and the other being a lovely king-size; and provide you with ample storage for your belongings. The bathroom is also situated on the first floor, with a bath with an electric shower that you can enjoy a well-deserved rest in; there is also a handy drying cupboard nearby for you to leave your laundry, coats and rucsacs. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
