Look out of the bay windows in the sitting area and the panoramic view will take your breath away, stretching from St Ives Bay in one direction to Godrevy Lighthouse in the other. Take a seat in one of the two comfy sofas and see if you can spot dolphins playing in the bay or enjoy the fabulous entertainment on the smart TV with full Sky package including Movies and Sport. A table, comfortably seating four, is perfectly positioned in the dining area to enjoy the wonderful Cornish vista at mealtimes. The beach hamlet of Carbis Bay is well renowned for its magnificent stretch of pure white sand, which is only a short drive from iconic St Ives. The beach feels almost subtropical, with turquoise waters and protected conditions, and is ideal for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The Ocean Sports Centre is located on the beach, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the ocean instead. Alternatively, why not book a spa day at the boutique hotel that overlooks the beach and has a fantastic terrace where you can sip cocktails while basking in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a few shops and restaurants, as well as a fish and chip takeaway and a railway branchline. One of the most beautiful rail journeys in the country is from Carbis Bay to St Ives.
