Location Details
Leven, a small rural community in the East Riding of Yorkshire, is around seven miles from Hornsea and eight miles from Beverley. A cricket and football bowling amateur team, as well as two bars, are located nearby. A short drive will bring you to the mediaeval market town of Beverley, which features a Gothic Minster and a bustling twice-weekly market. Beverley has a long history and has a huge selection of eateries and shops. Spend the day at the Beverley Races, don't forget! The East Coast seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington, and Scarborough, the Deep Submarinium in Hull (the 2017 City of Culture), York, the North York Moors, and more can all be reached in less than an hour by driving. This cottage is a hidden gem! Well Cottage is in the quiet village of Leven, not far from Beverley. It certainly has the WOW factor, It’s beautifully decorated throughout and there are so many extra features such as a copper stand-alone bath, high tech kettle, toaster, cooker, fridge freeze, coffee machine, microwave and washing machine, 3 large Sky tv’s with movies and sports channels, a cosy log fire. 2 waterfall showers, 2 big comfy beds, lots of lovely artwork, modern lighting and ornaments, the list goes on. The hot tub is bliss and suitable for all weathers as it’s set in a wooden canopy with twinkling little lights above you and this also provides you with plenty of privacy. And then there is your fabulous host, Helen! She will show you round when you arrive and is there for you throughout your stay, without being intrusive. You’ll be treated to some lovely welcome gifts that include a bottle of bubbly on ice and some yummy treats. She’s a little star! This place is luxurious, cosy and immaculately clean. Do not hesitate to book some time away at this gorgeous cottage, you won’t be disappointed. We have stayed here now for my past two birthdays and we’ll definitely be back!
Wow! What a gorgeous cottage in beautiful surroundings. I would LOVE to live in this idyllic accommodation for ever, as it has EVERYTHING you need. And it’s all top quality. And the hosts were such lovely down to earth folk too. 10/10 from me.
We’ve just returned from a week away in the most luxurious and well equipped cottage you could ever wish to visit.. Amazing welcome from our host Helen who shows you around the cottage & all its features..inc Amazing welcome pack & Prosecco on ice.. What you get, spotless accommodation that is beautifully decorated and furnished with absolute fixtures & fittings.. Sky Q with all channels in all rooms (Inc’s Movies, Sky Sports & TNT), TV in lounge is huge and amazing, bedrooms which are also outstanding also have great TV’s, Wi-FI quality is also brilliant.. Kitchen appliances & accessories are of the highest quality & standard… Hot tub & Private Garden doesn’t disappoint, honestly this place is absolutely out of this world! So much to do in and around the area a week is not enough.. Would we return without a doubt…
