Recently refurbished, comfortable and well thought out, our party of eight adults all enjoyed this hidden gem. It’s a short walk to the golf course, beach and numerous bars and restaurants. We will be back. Recommended!
We were 3 couples and a handful of kids and this place was perfect to give us all the space for an awesome week in Newquay. We could walk everywhere with the golf course outside the door and Fistral Beach a few minutes walk across the course (luckily there's a passage to stop the golf balls hitting you!!). The house is right next to local shops and an easy walk into the town centre, but the walks to other beaches are nice too, not just Fistral. We barely used the car all week and ordered fresh fish, lobster and crab locally. The house has two outdoor spaces and also a snug upstairs for the kids to disappear to and watch movies (which was great when the adults got boring). Newquay Golf Course has a cheap sunset rate after 4pm which was great for us when it was virtually our garden and we only wanted 9 or 10 holes before dinner... The town location meant the house was handy on bad weather days too as we could head to the shops and we even hit the crazy golf just down the road. All in, great location, spacious house and fab base to spend a week in Newquay. My highlight was fish and chips on Fistral with the sun going down... I think, hope I put the corkscrew back in the kitchen ...... (yikes!)
