Note: The utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and extra freezer is shared with the other cottages. Please note: Due to the nature of the property the stairs may be found to be steep for some guests
Location Details
Sourton Down is resting on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with a Shell garage serving takeaway food and selling any essentials, as well as a pub and a bike hire shop. Nearby Meldon has a quarry, viaduct and reservoir which each offer scenic spots and great walking routes to spot all three. Nearby, Okehampton is home to the ruins of a medieval castle, the Museum of Dartmoor Life, a golf club, a train station and ample shops, bars and eateries.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Was an amazing place to stay, my family are in the area we travelled from southport and the hosts made it so easy to get in (even tho we arrived very late at night) and were extremely friendly. The accommodation was brilliant location amazing and facilities were great. Will and have recommended to anyone willing to listen
