Boasting well-stocked shops, a variety of eateries to suit any taste or budget, as well as a railway station which makes it the perfect location for exploring the lush Cumbrian countryside. Enjoying close proximity to Wigton, where you can expect a weekly market each Tuesday, shopping, a theatre, pubs and restaurants, swimming and tennis, it promises a fun day out for all the family.
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Spotless. Well equipped. Nice and quiet. A lovely place to unwind. The owners were there if needed but not all intrusive.
Just had a lovely week at this beautiful cottage . There is everything you could need here we stayed for 1 week and it was like home from home . The hosts are very friendly and helpful and always about it you need to ask anything but not intrusive. Would highly recommend staying here. There is lots of places to visit. I would highly recommend .
