Location Details
Perched on the northern bank of the River Tweed is the bustling town of Coldstream, well-known for being home to the famous Coldstream Guards. The town boasts a good selection of amenities, including independent shops and welcoming pubs, a museum dedicated to the Coldstream Guards and a host of activities including cycling, walking, riding, golf and fishing, there is something for everyone! Just a short distance away from the town centre are the fascinating remains of the once impressive Twizel Castle, perfect for exploring the town's history.

A beautiful cottage, so we'll equipped you will have everything you need for a smooth holiday! The cottage is set in a stunning location so quiet and peaceful. The view from the back garden is lovely and we spotted bunnies in the front and back garden. Ample space for a car or two. The furniture is quality and well thought out as are the appliances, crockery, towels, bedding - everything really. Lots of great activities close by such as the light railway, museums, farms, beaches, boat trips. An excellent location to explore further. We stayed with our 5 year old who really enjoyed his holiday. Kitchen has everything you could want or need for a self catering holiday and really feels like you're in a home, choices of pans, plates, bowls, cups nothing has been forgotten. The owners were very welcoming on our arrival and we managed to say goodbye as we left. We would recommend this cottage and doubt anyone would be disappointed when they arrive! The cottage is presented well and was very clean on our arrival with so much information and local guides and leaflets provided too. Maybe we need to return in winter to make sure of the log burner!
