Among Whitby's many charms is its beautiful ambiance, which is characterised by narrow streets and back alleyways teeming with restaurants and stores. Watch the sun go down over the beautiful harbour and lighthouse or get part in whale watching or a coastal cruise to get up close and personal with the majestic beasts.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
