Compact yet cosy, this lovely dwelling boasts a traditional décor and provides a perfect base for a couple's getaway in Scotland. Park up at the foot of this stone-built holiday retreat before unloading your bags and making your way to your home-from-home for the duration of your trip. Kick off your shoes as you settle down in the open-plan living space, traditionally decorated with exposed stonework and a warming electric fire, the lounge area provides a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some quality time. The kitchen, situated off the lounge area, is well-presented with a contemporary décor, housing all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay, with a café table and stools in the lounge area offering the perfect spot to enjoy your meals. In the warmer months, step outside into the enclosed communal garden with a raised seating area for you to relax, unwind and enjoy a spot of alfresco dining. As the evening grows darker, head back indoors and retire to the space and comfort of the double bedroom in which to recharge before your next day’s adventure. A short walk from your doorstep will bring you to the rocky shoreline of Cove Bay, a beautiful spot to watch the world go by, with scenic views across to the distant shores and hills beyond. With the idyllic village of Cove resting on the banks of Long Loch on the Rosneath Peninsula, and bordering Scotland's first National Park, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs, there's a wealth of outdoor opportunities; try your hand at fishing or wild-water swimming, or get better acquainted with your surroundings and cycle through the scenic landscape, both on and off road. Lace up your walking boots and embark on an adventure along the peaceful coast, or for a more challenging experience, tackle the climb to the summit of Ben Lomond or Ben Arthur, known locally as The Cobbler for breath-taking views over the surrounding area. Venture further along the coast to the nearby village of Kilcreggan, home to the only remaining Victorian pier on the Clyde, with a ferry link to the south of the river, along with a well-stocked convenience store, an award-winning butcher’s and a post office, as well as a bar, restaurant and a quaint cafe.
