Perched in the valley of the River Derwent and settled between the towns of Wirksworth and Matlock, is the charming village of Cromford. A wander through the centre of the village will find a delightful selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as the Cromford Mills which offers guided tours around the impressive 18th-century water-powered cotton mill. Nearby is the spa town of Matlock Bath which boasts the Peak District Museum and the well-known Gullivers World which promises a fun-filled day out for all of the family.
