Set over three floors, this welcoming retreat is a lovely place for families and friends to call home while taking on the delights of this seaside resort, whether it be relaxing on the Blue Flag beach or meandering along the impressive coastline. Stepping inside, you are greeted by an entrance hall where you can leave your seaside equipment before heading into the delightful living/dining room. Uplifted by natural light from the bay window, here you can sit back and browse the TV for your favourite shows while the gas fire offers a subtle warmth, or make yourself useful and set the dining table for a sumptuous supper while the designated chef gets to work in the kitchen, fitted with all the necessities for a short break. The bedrooms at this Sidmouth cottage are spread across the two upper floors; on the first floor there is a double and single room served by a tiled bathroom, while the second-floor offers a double with en-suite shower, along with a bay window overlooking the attractive front area, ‘The Byes’, which has the River Sid flowing through it and is a lovely place for a stroll and is a doggy paradise for your four legged friends. Stroll into Sidmouth town centre to find everything you need during your stay; there are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés and pubs to choose from, as well as an award-winning beach surrounded by awe inspiring cliffs that gives a very secluded feel. Throughout the year, Sidmouth holds many events, including Sidmouth Sea Fest, the famous Sidmouth Folk Week, the Red Arrows, Sidbury Fair and Sidmouth Walking Festival, as well as being successful with regular top awards in the National Britain in Bloom competition, so you’re likely to catch an event while you’re here! For those looking to get their steps in, the South West Coastal Path is well worth exploring, spanning across the beautiful Jurassic coastline where you might even spot some fossils! If you fancy a change of scenery, the bustling city of Exeter is accessible by car, train and the regular number 9 bus service and offers a great shopping scene and some fine architecture. The charming towns of of Honiton and Axminster nearby and are worth seeing during your stay. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
