Reviews

An amazing home away from home I the quiet village of Goxhill. Sue and Ian are the perfect hosts, making sure to meet on arrival and offering a tour with a run through on how everything works. No question went unanswered and I immediately felt comfortable with them. The summerhouse itself is modern, yet cosy. Plush furniture, warm and inviting with personal touches throughout! As expected, the hottub was a big draw and exceptionally clean. The WiFi is basically non existent at the time I stayed, but it wasn't wanted since I was on a break. Free view TV and the Bluetooth CD player was all the tech needed. There are dvds, cds, games and books all on the shelf with an encouragement to ask for anything else needed. Cooking amenities are perfect for a home cooked meal, just make sure to pack your spices and any staples you may need. There is an ice box in the fridge, so make sure you don't pick up much frozen stuff. Honestly one of the most relaxing trips I've taken and will be eager to return! There's a beautiful farm shop tea room a few minutes walk away, a co-op for your basics down the road, multiple takeaways that deliver to the door and the next town over has a large tesco and herons for anything else. Ian has tonnes of recommendations for historical interest points so take advantage of your friendly hosts. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy the solitude
