While you are in the area, history buffs may enjoy an afternoon at the Whitstable Community Museum & Gallery, but if that is not to your taste, you can always spend your afternoon sunbathing on the pretty beach with an ice cream in hand. Further afield, a scenic car journey will take you to the Blean Woods Nature Reserve, so you can get your walking boots on or bring your bicycle along for an adventurous day of exploring the dense and picturesque woodland.
