The location and views are priceless and the accommodation matches the views. Very well thought out design and quality furnishings throughout. The kitchen is so well equipped, really like a home rather, than a holiday house. We will definitely book here again. Such a relaxing place to stay and right in the heart of beautiful Dartmouth.
We had a perfect autumn/winter stay at this lovely house. The views are just amazing whatever the weather and time of day - incredible sunrises over the castle and estuary, ferry and boat watching, and then the Christmas Steam train arriving and departing at Kingswear the other side of the river! Too easy to while away hours from the comfort of the sofas. Kitchen had everything we could need (and more), bedding extremely comfortable. Some lovely pubs and coffee shops, Christmas market, strolls to the castle, shopping... plenty to amuse us without needing to get in the car. I think we will definitely be back!
Loved our stay! A beautiful house to come back to after exploring all of Dartmouth's labyrinth of winding passages and stairways. The views from the living room are stunning - loved sitting with a coffee and just watching the comings and goings of boats on the river from the incredible full length windows in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed when we opted to stay in and cook, and we were very pleased to find a coffee machine too. Dartmouth itself has lots of lovely shops and pubs (particularly The Cherub, just halfway down the stairs from the house) to visit and some really enjoyable walks along the coast. We're already looking forward to our next visit, thanks for a wonderful holiday!
