Start your visit to Whitby with a stroll around the centre. You'll find plenty to see and do, from admiring the 199 Steps to shopping at the Whitby Seaside Emporium. There are also plenty of places to dine at, from traditional pubs to seaside cafes. If you're interested in the history of Whitby, you should check out the the iconic ruins of Whitby Abbey.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Amazing family cottage, close to the beach, shops and many North Yorkshire attractions. Very clean, well equipped and spacious. Will definitely recommend and hope to go back!
Stayed at Sea Change in July and was very happy with the house, secure garden and furnishings. We have stayed in many holiday homes but never had a garage before. Although the garden wasn't huge it had 3 lovely seating areas so you could get sun or shade most of the day. The kitchen equipment was great as was the bedding and towels. We did use the car each day to go out but that did not spoil our break at all. We look forward to going back and would recommend to family and friends.
