Location Details
At the eastern extremity of Loch Earn, halfway between Ardrostan and Comrie, rests the lovely lakeside conservation community of St Fillans. The Lake Lomond & The Trossachs National Park borders the village, which is well-known for its excellent position. The village also offers a modest number of attractions, such as Active Skydiving, canoeing and boating on the loch, the St Fillans Monster, and the St Fillans Golf Club. The Loch Earn Brewery & Hotel, Achray House, and Seasons View all offer dining options, and the village shop is a convenient place to get groceries.

I stayed here for a few nights in April with 3 other people. The lodge is in a fantastic location with Loch Earn on the doorstep and amazing walks nearby. St Fillans is a very cute village with a local shop and a couple of pubs 10/15 minutes away from the lodge. Red Kite Lodge is amazingly fitted with everything you need to make it a home away from home. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sofa bed we had more than enough space. The views from the decking are gorgeous and you can also enjoy them from the hot tub outside. The wildlife in the area is amazing with pheasant, hare and deer spotted nearby. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I will 100% be going back!
