Nestled within the picturesque county of Clare is the delightful town of Milltown Malbay. Home to a handful of pubs, eateries and local shops, the town provides guests with all they need during their self-catering stay. Holidaymakers will be pleased with the town's easy links to the beaches of Whitestrand and Spanish Point, where they can bask in the sun to their heart's content; additionally, Spanish Point Beach backs onto a golf club, ideal for the putting fans of the group.
Myself, my husband and 2 children have just returned from a week spent in Milltown Malbay. We stayed at Mullagh Road and were delighted with the location. The house is exactly as described. It is well insulated, bright and airy with a real homely feel,. It receives a lot of natural sunlight throughout the day. It has two reception rooms which is great if you want to escape the kids in the evening. The 4 double bedrooms were of a generous size with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The beds themselves were really comfortable. The house itself is on a sizeable area of land with a lovely green area to the front and picnic table and bench to the back. There was a bbq too which is great in this weather! It is well equipped with everything that we needed and Eddie and Jane were on standby if we needed anything. Location was perfect, with 3 stunning beaches- Whitestrand, Spanish Point and Lahinch all close and accessible through very well kept country roads. We didn't want to leave! I would definitely recommend this property.
