Blyth is a delightful beach town in Northumberland, situated between Morpeth and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The town is recognised for its industrial past and long coastline, as well as a variety of attractions such as the Phoenix Theatre, Humford Woods Play Area, and Ridley Park. Places to eat include The Masons Arms, which serves typical pub cuisine, and Caboose, a restaurant featuring exquisite dining; you can also fill up on necessities at one of the town's many stores located in its centre.
We are currently staying at this accommodation and honestly it's amazing. We can't travel far or do huge holiday parks or busy campsite due to our autistic son so always look for quieter places locally. After being completely let down by Park Dene resorts ( which is who we normally stay with. Never ever again) We found this little gem. The apartment is so beautiful and furnished to a standard I've never seen in a holiday home. We arrived and were greeted by the bubbly smiling Jane who showed us into the building and a quick show round the apartment. I honestly can't describe how impressive this place is. The owners had even got in the essentials, ie bread, milk, butter, cereal etc. Along with 2 easter eggs for my 2 boys ❤️. You can literally walk out the building and be on the beach in 30 seconds. There's a fish shop and ice cream parlour minutes away. The nearest convenience store is about a ten minute walk but does deliver via the snappy shopper app. And Ridley Park again is around a 10 minute walk but totally worth it for the little ones.
