Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
A lovely, well equipped cottage, set in stunning surroundings. Care is needed on the stairs as they're quite steep. I guess being located in the countryside means spiders also inhabiting the property is understandable - not being a fan of them, this proved a little tricky for me. Being off the A5, it's a great base from which to explore a variety of areas- care is needed leaving the driveway, especially if in a car that is quite low, as seeing over boundary walls is a bit tricky. I'd recommend this as a place to stay, to either relax, enjoying the plethora of seating areas in the spacious garden, or to be more active on land or water. PS For petrol heads, there's a small but interesting motor museum (limited opening times) just off the canal in town.
A lovely place to stay and a well equipped cottage full of character. We really enjoyed our visit, thanks to our friendly hosts.
This is a beautiful place to stay . The cottage has everything you need set in a fantastic location surrounded by stunning scenery . The owners live next door and are very welcoming and helpful. The only thing i would add is a bigger kitchen bin and a bigger sign post to the entrance to the grounds of the property as locating this of the main road was a little difficult me. I drove past it twice ha . Other than that I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone .
